This 100% handcrafted mahogany model of the legendary Chris Craft Triple Cockpit is a masterpiece of model shipbuilding. Built according to scale from original plans, pictures and drawings, it is the pinnacle of detail, featuring shiny chrome fittings, leather seats, engine hatches with stainless handles and shiny brass props, rudders and more. Finished in semi gloss mahogany and expertly painted white bottoms, this model took over 100 hours of work by the master craftsman. It comes with a neat attached wood stand and is ready for display.

These men readily financed the high-powered designs of craftsman such as Christopher Columbus Smith, John L. Hacker, and George Crouch. As Smith’s boats started to receive awards such as the coveted Gold Cup of the American Power Boat Association, the Chris Craft name started to become a star among nautical enthusiasts. He continued to thrive in the speedboat competitions and his string of victories further accelerated the explosion of his company’s success.
